Welcome to Bare Roots Digital. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services, specifically the “48-Hour Overhaul” package. By booking a service with Bare Roots Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read them carefully before booking your slot.

1. The Service: “The 48-Hour Overhaul”

Bare Roots Digital provides a specific service package that includes:

  1. Landing Page Design: Creation of a one-page, conversion-focused website.

  2. Content Stack: Creation of 30 days of social media content (text/scripts) and associated assets as described in your invoice.

Timeline: The “48-Hour” timeline begins once we have received all necessary assets, information, and payment from you. It refers to working business days.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Payment: Full payment (or a non-refundable deposit, if agreed upon) is required to secure your booking slot in our calendar.

  • Refunds: Due to the time-intensive nature of this service, all payments are non-refundable once the work has commenced. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled slot, you may be eligible for a credit towards a future booking.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure we can deliver within the promised 48-hour window, you agree to:

  • Provide Information: Complete our onboarding questionnaire and provide all necessary assets (logos, images, brand guidelines) before the scheduled start date.

  • Communication: Be available for feedback during the scheduled project days to avoid delays.

  • Delays: If you do not provide the necessary information on time, we reserve the right to reschedule your project to the next available slot, which may be weeks away.

4. Use of AI and Intellectual Property

  • AI Transparency: You acknowledge that Bare Roots Digital uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in the research, drafting, and ideation phases of your project to ensure speed and efficiency.

  • Human Verification: All AI-generated output is reviewed, edited, and validated by Laverne Francis before delivery.

  • Ownership: Upon full payment, you own the rights to the final website design and social media content provided to you. You grant Bare Roots Digital a non-exclusive license to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials.

5. Revisions

The 48-Hour Overhaul is designed for speed.

  • Included: We provide one round of consolidated revisions after the initial delivery, provided the request is made within 3 business days of delivery.

  • Scope: Revisions cover minor text tweaks, image swaps, or colour adjustments. Major structural changes or new content additions outside the original scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

6. Hosting and Third-Party Platforms

  • We are not a hosting company. You are responsible for the costs and management of your domain name and website hosting platform (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).

  • We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or security breaches resulting from third-party hosting providers or platforms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Bare Roots Digital is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services.

  • The performance or results of your marketing campaigns (we provide the assets, but cannot guarantee specific sales or engagement metrics).

  • Issues arising from your failure to comply with third-party platform terms of service (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram).

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

  • AI-generated images are for personal and business use (social media, branding, printing). Resale of the images “as-is” is not permitted without written consent.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Services are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • If you are unhappy with your images, I will make reasonable edits (within the agreed scope).

I may update thses Privacy Policy & Terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
